Hallo , I found in Italy an british Helmet with unit flash on Royal West kent regiment insigna "Invicta" on sx side and at the front painted in black letters 6 WR/S.
You know this letter? possible 6 W west Kent R regiment / S squadron ?

Got quite excited by this one, but with my limited knowledge, I’m presuming it’s fake, as the hardware on the hinge isn’t oval, being cut off on the sides.Also it doesn’t appear to be in Fischers informative post on them.

Hello everyone, I had a friend tell me about this helmet, it was for sale at a thrift shop. I lived nearby so I went straight over there. I looked the helmet over and was fairly sure the liner and everything is correct but the grey paint is something I have never seen before. I decided to purchase it and after examining it some more I think it is possibly original grey paint too, minus the iron cross decal that was once applied to the right side. Any info would be appreciated, thanks again.
