Found this in a at the local flea market in a miscellaneousbin
No part of the upper portion was to be found.
Interesting random find, maybe for someone to use as a repair or restoration part

Hello, I am new to the forum. Have a pic of my Dad in German WW2 uniform. While I am familiar with the iron cross there are still some insignia in the pic that I can’t identify and my mother does not remember. Would you be able to help If I post the pic ? It is good quality but only shows the upper portion. I thank you all in advance !!

Last week I had to reorganize my gun safe to make some room for some new additions to the collection. I took the time to snap a family portrait. During this time I organized them based on their age. From top to bottom:

1917- RIA M1903, Mauser Model 1914
1939- Turkish Model 1938 Mauser
1940- Japanese Type 99
1941- Australian SMLE 1
1943- Inland M1 Carbine, M1 Garand, and Japanese Type 2 Paratrooper rifle.

I must say that I am proud of my humble collection!

This nice nickel HJ arrived today. A buckle I had on my HJ ‘hit list’ for sometime. Has the interesting MA 45 stamping from Friedrich Linden, Ludenscheid (FLL) and overall really nice condition cool militaria
