A new pick up today.

Finally!!! A nice clean US WWI 1917 L.F.& C. Trench Knife with the 7 knuckle Pyramids on guard and triangular 9" blade and wooden finger grooved handle.

Guard marked "US 1917 L.F.& C." manufacture.

Around 75% of blueing remains. The knife is solid and tight. It is not sharpened but truth be told…it doesn’t need to be…

Missing the scabbard but there is hope that this can be found so keeping my fingers crossed.

Been looking for one to go with my 1918 Au Lion trench knife!

Hello,

I have looked everywhere, pretty much exhausted the online search available. This tag supposedly was picked up in the 90’s around the Kalliningrad, St.Petersberg, Estonia area. The seller cannot specify as it was her late husband’s.

Anyway, it reads: 6. N. E. A. 2
AB 425
I think this means 6th division ____? Artillery Unit 2nd Regiment, blood type AB, soldier number 425.
The tag, I believe, is zinc, which would make it mid-late war?

Anyone know which unit this came from? Training unit?
I can’t imagine this was a blank stamped after the war. I mean who would create a fake tag of a unit that is impossible to find? It wouldn’t be worth anything.

Anyone have any ideas?

A Victorian other ranks review order czapka for the 9th ( Queen’s Royal ) Lancers, a regiment probably most famous for it’s Indian Mutiny service, and with Lord Roberts in the 2nd Afghan War.

Wanted to Drop these Pictures here for Collectors to check out…..This was found in a thrift store tucked inside that envelope in a 1950’s era Sewing Box……Autographs are in Gold Paint Pen…..Take a look and let me know what you think…….Signed and Dated 1946…Nuremburg…..Signatures are Albert speer, Rosenburg, Seyss-Inquart, Donitz, Julius Streicher, A Jodl, Hermann Goering and Joachim Von Ribbentrop…Hankerchief still has the Period Swiss Stickers Affixed to it…..Beautiful….Michael

Hi guys, stumbled across an armband i haven’t seen before and just thought it was an interesting one. would it be SS due to the black piping around the outside? i know the SS bands usually had a much thicker black strip, but i wasn’t sure what else it could be. The quality looks good to me but any information would be appreciated, cheers!
