I wouldn’t normally post things like this however I’m finding it very hard to track down a good original 1918 pattern raf uniform for sale. Although lots of people have told me they are fairly common I have had no such luck I was wondering if anyone here knows of any good ones for sale?
I’m also after any information that would help me identify a good honest one as my knowledge is on ww2 raf tunics.
If anyone could help ether way I would be grateful.
Many thanks mgn
Here’s another addition to my 2-place medal bars for junior officers, the Saxony-Weimar Order of the White Falcon Knight 2nd Class w/Swords, mounted with a very early core EK2. The core on the EK2 is the same as the Godet type B 1870 EK2 (with the date changed to 1914).
Even though the White Falcon order has enamel damage, I like really like the fact that it is a heavy piece. The combination of it being a heavy strike along with the very early core EK2 basically proves to me that this was a wartime assembled medal bar, and obviously was damaged from the recipient wearing it proudly.
Best Regards,
Alan
I found this uniform at a local op-shop. I know it’s Italian but I have very little knowledge on Italian gear.
It has no markings or tags and if it wasn’t for the brass buttons I would have had no idea on it’s origins. It’s in terrible condition so I am planning to remove the buttons and bin it. I’m guessing it has little to no historical value,a dress uniform from the 1960’s or 70’s; can anyone ID the tunic?

Note - Apologies for the flipped side pics. I have no idea why they did so?
