I juat acquired at auction a Bavarian cavalry officer’s visor cap, which could be for the two ulan regiments, or the 1st or 2nd Chevaux Leger regiments, with it’s steel green body, and crimson band & piping.
I knew that the cockades were reversed when I bid, with the Reichskokade on the bottom & Bavarian on top. Upon recieving the cap, they appear to have been mounted this way for a very long time.
Should I try to put them in " correct" order, or leave as is? Opinions are appreciated.

Hello all, I’ve come across this North Africa campaign medal. From my own own research I think that this medal may well be OK, but I’d love to get a second opinion from the experts cool militaria. The medal appears to be the bronze version and is manufactured by Loriola of Milano. Looks like an original ribbon in good condition too, usually these things fade beyond all recognition! Apologies for the photos, they are all I have.

New to the group. I’ve been collecting ww1 & 2 memabilia for a few months now.
I’m no expert, but I can trust the dealers I purchase from. I have a small amount of knowledge on certain subjects, but I really would appreciate some help on this cap that my dad got me for Christmas. The dealer he got it from is not a expert on ww2 memabilia, but was told its real……

In my short time of collecting I’ve come across many photographs from the WW2 era. However, I struggle to know what photographs are originals, and which are copies. I have a handful of photographs, but here is the only one I currently have a picture of to show. Is there a good way to tell the original photos from the copies? I’ll do my best to upload more pictures soon cool militaria
