Kreigsmarine badges, fakes galore! I have attached some photos of a big lot of fake Kriegsmarine badges I recently acquired. I know it is preferred to list only one badge per thread, but I did these as a group to show the similarities between them. I bought them as copies from a local collector who decided to sell his collection after he found out most of his items were fakes. I assumed these are all made by the same faker as finishes, pins, etc. identical on most despite different makers hallmarks. My question is, who the heck is making these, and where are they coming from? These are scary ‘good’ unless you’re very familiar with originals. I see these exact same badges on dealers lists all the time being offered as originals at top prices!! Gday gents,

here i have the bottom of a medal document which is almost unreadable, the only words i can make out are: komandira, VV NKVD and Podpolkovnik

If anyone can help me decipher the whole thing such as who signed it, what division, etc that would be amazing.

I have been searching for a RAD Wilhelm Binder buckle tabbed for quite a while..
I think my search is over.. WRF member Weller has in his collection a mint Binder..
This is all I can accomplish for now.. I will know the results Tue. Wish me luck.. G cool militaria

Belonging to Lt Hands Wahl, who went on to serve in the 9th Infantry Division,15th Infantry Regiment, this album covers his service in the Freiwillige Labor Service from 1933-38. Units 6/225 2/225 3/225 8/225 4/225. Too many great photo’s too mention or show, early and rare FAD photo’s. some glider training, some with daggers showing, flags, gorgets, ceremonies, a few loose photo’s but most are intact, you will not be dissapointed in this one, one of the neatest I’ve owned and im ready to pass it on to someone who will enjoy it as much as I did.
