I purchased this knowing full on I was taking a risk…I didn’t expect to find it where I found it…it just kinda fell into my lap while searching the last of 6 antique stores in Nowheresville VA today. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me how to post photos with the mobile version of the website so I just went with it.

The elderly woman behind the counter said it was part of an estate sale that they purchased from a woman who’s father had recently passed.

Good day everyone,

I was shown a Luftwaffe Cape a few days ago. Similar to the one posted below. I was just curious to see if anyone knew a value for them. I have searched online at a few different dealers to no success. It seems no one has any for sale. I remember reading a while back they are a rare find. Is this true?

Hope this is ok to post here. I would like opinions on the following crash helmet. It is listed as painted white for summer use. I do not think it is Olympics related, might not even be period paint?. At the other forum it was stated that these helmets were painted white post war for sport use…..bobsleigh and such. I have never seen one of these before, so curious. Thanks in advance.
