Here’s my MK V & 6. One would love to think that the MK V seen the Falklands! I know for sure the MK 6 seen service in the First Gulf war.

Need help! Grandfather’s service history

Cut a long story short, my mother and father split when I was young. My father went back to his place of birth, Byker, Newcastle. I don’t speak to him, so its hard to get information. My Grandfather (his dad) served during WW2 and I would love his military service history. Is there anyone who could help me? I know his date of birth, where he lived, second name isn’t so common and regiment. I know in 1925 he was a driver for the Royal Army service corps and then during WW2 he served for the Royal Engineers and was evacuated from Dunkirk and discharged in 1943 due to bad injury he had in Africa. Due to not having his service number, I’ve constantly been round in circles.
