Is the sewing of the kokarde on this muller cap Original? Is that the way it was done, through the lining?

Just spent a most enjoyable week in Normandy, with V-B as our ‘local’ town. As has been said many times, there’s not much to see. But if you have a good selection of books the ‘Wittmann’ locations are easy to find - you just need to use your imagination ( hard ! ).

Like with this one - Hannes Philipsen’s Tiger ; not much left for me to find !

Here’s your chance to pick up a real stunner. Rarely do quality SS daggers pop up for sale on facebook and certainly not a dagger of this caliber. Here we have a very rare maker and a very rare configuration. This transitional period RZM type dagger is complete with solid nickel fittings. A gorgeous blade with excellent cross grain and the most beautiful aging and toning to this rig. Lüneschloss SS daggers are nearly impossible to find and this one is a real screamer. The etched logo is just about perfect and is as crisp as they come. With the exception of the damaged ball at the scabbard tip and the minor wear near the SS roundel, this dagger is without any issues. The hanger (which was most likely added later) has a nicely stamped leather strap in combination with the typical RZM M5/71 marked OLC plated clip.
