Evening guys, I thought I’d show what I picked up today at the Allentown show.I got these from Eric Doody, it was the first time I’ve met or talked to him, he ’s a very nice guy and we had a bull session for about 15 minutes.Eric translated almost all of this, but I forget easily the older I get, so I retranslated what I could.Eric gave me the o.k. to take photos but by this time he was busy with someone else.He had twice as much Japanese goodies at his table than I seen at the whole show.Beside his table I saw two other Japanese IJA helmets, one without a star and a really nice complete one that I thought was way overpriced.I’d like to know what the top line of the depot stamp reads if possible.

Hi guys
I am still learning about soviet medals, starting with the common ones but now I got the opurtunity to get this medal in exchange with a freind, he is pretty sure it’s fake, in my opinion it is also fake (he got this few years ago, very cheap). It has some damages

The ribbon and suspension are new because he added them himself (got the medal without them)
And what do you think is it a nice copy or rather bad? Or maybe it’s original so he can sell it and earn some money?

Hi,
The other day i picked up two relic helmets one a M42 in ok condition, the other i thought a 42 also. This has some damage, it also has like rounded rivets in the breather holes, iv only seen one in the past with this and it was a winter camo one, could anyone tell me why the helmet would have these rivets im interested to know.

Hey everyone, I mostly collect Russian (I’ll post those later), but also wanted to collect one helmet from each of the 7 major countries. Anyone else do one of each, and if so, did you add an 8th, and what was it? Yes, I know I cheated because the British is actually Canadian, but close enough.

Also, I have thick skin, feel free to give me honest opinions on authenticity. I also don’t mind posting more pictures or answering any questions you have.
