Gentlemen please can you confirm the authenticity of this RLB rig?
I have just been sent these images from a prospective seller that look fine however I am not educated on current copy hangers .
Kroneck “W” is the maker I am told but I have not been provided with an image of the logo as yet.
Your opinions and help is appreciated in advance thanks!

2 nice Soldat wedding photograph/postcards.

Evening gent’s, I just picked these two nice photographs up from the bay. I am getting a bit of a taste for "family" studio images. They show servicemen during happier moments. I think these are Mimosa paper images, but I will take some better images when they arrive. Leon.

Looking for a PBP-1 aircraft gunsight

Hi,

I know it is a longshot but I am looking for a decent gunsight for use in a restoration project on our Il-2 Sturmovik at work. We have the sight from the recovery but it is rough and seeing as it is visible from the ground when on display we’d like to have a better one for installation and simply exhibit our relic sight separately. Any help or lead are very appreciated.

Our project is Il-2 5612 of the 7th naval Guards Air Assault Regiment. It was built in eeh Moscow Factory #1 in February ‘43 spent its whole time in the Leningrad pocket until being disabled - water pump destroyed - by enemy fire while strafing German forces on the january 28, 1944 (the day after the seige was broken) and ditched on a frozen lake and was abandon. It sank in the spring and was recovered c.1990.

Question German Officer Boots

I have this pair of boots that I purchased several months back and was told that they are private purchased WW2 Era German Officer boots. I know that these are not textbook boots. What are some textbook points to look for in a good pair of officer boots? I am concerned that the leather part that comes from the foot is sewn over the front part might mean that these are post war. Has anyone seen these type of boots in WW2 period photos on officers? Any help is greatly appreciated.
