Need help! US M1917 Wool Jacket and Trousers

I found this for sale and was wondering if this is an authentic WW1 uniform, or if it is a reproduction/post WW1. I believe it is authentic but wanted to double-check, just for peace of mind.

Question Type 90 helmet

I just picked up this Type 90 IJA helmet. It appears to be unissued. It is marked with both a stamp and painted Kanji "Dai" figure for large. The manufacturer marking appears to be in a diamond shape. The stamping is shallow so it is a little hard to tell. It might be from Kobe but I am not sure. The liner has the Showa year 17 which translates to 1942.
