Unknown mauser magazine

Hello, could anyone identify this mauser magazine? It is WAY BIGGER than a p38,or a ppk magazine so it’s not one of them. The shape is also very interesting and differnt than a normal mag. Please help! Thank you.

M42 Lufty for David and Leon ……

Not as sexy as either gent’s prior offerings but I give you one of my prizes….
I’ve had this for about 7 years now - from a UK private collection and with very little use and well preserved.

It shows well just how brittle the later war HkP / Ckl paint was - the brittleness is evident in the closeups - this is common to see with these. I spoke with a professional painter and he said it was due to poor surface preparation….. when you think of the need for speedy production and the practicality of a helmet doing its job of ‘noggin protection’ ( and not needing to win a paint contest ) then I’m amazed any paint adhered at all!!

Cheers, Dan

War Relics Militaria sales

Stalingrad Named Helmet

I recently acquired this helmet that has some history.

Now that I have it I am trying to figure out how to give it proper respect in my collection.

Looks like a simple relic helmet at first.

Inside it has a name like so many.

My F/S

My F/S brought a fair while ago appears unused as the bluing is unmarked except at the tip, tabs are cut from the scabbard (Why so?) the point of the blade is like a needle damn sharp. What Mark is this one also has the 1st ed book (brought separately) that gives the instructions how to utilize it effectively Cheers.

Need help! Estate sale German Helmet find w/ liner but is it real??

I found this German helmet today at an estate sale. Im looking for opinions on if it’s real or fake helmet as well as the liner and if they do go together? Thoughts?
The sale did not advertise any militaria so it was a surprise. Also at this estate sale and In relation to this time period I found a large shell in the basement and a bunch of letters to a Cpl. Harry Patterson Btry A 313th from mother, father and girlfriend mailed in 1944.
Any help at all would be ever so appreciated. I’m not an expert in militaria but I always buy it when I see something interesting and cheap because I appreciate the historical significance and enjoy displaying in my house.

WW1 Canadian Sweetheart Pin?

I discovered this pin last weekend in a box of family heirlooms dating back several decades. I wondered if anyone on the forum might help to identify what it might be. My grandfather was with the 2nd division, 17th battery Canadian Field Artillery in WW1 and thought it might have a connection to him. The maker mark is BIRKS STIRLING The pin could be nothing more than a tie clip but it could be a CEF sweetheart pin maybe?
Your opinions are always welcome, thanks.
