WW2 Soviet star badge ID

Hi! I recently found this badge while metal detecting. I found it at a place where a Soviet M3 Lee tank blew up so I think that it belongs to a tank crew member. I was wondering what this badges model is and on what pieces of headgear this was attached to. Also, is there any way of preserving this badge and removing the rust without damaging it?

Thanks!10931101093111

Dutch Allied souvenir tin 39-45

A friend from the Nederlands sent this over with her son who is staying at the house for a few days with 2 of his friends as part of a UK tour.

Very cool IMO. It is tin plated inside and is nearly 10"/15cm high.

Can you Identify this MkII

An American Army Chaplin found this helmet in the El-Alamien train station ,up in the roof in 2001.
I originally told him i thought it was Australian (mainly due to the lack of rim) and to look for a date on the chin strap lugs.
He just sent me these photos and now im not so sure ?
Not much to go on but maybe the lug is a clue. ?
Fantastic find though
Mick

Another Cholm Shield

This shield is not mine but I am interested in purchasing it if authentic. Anyone have an opinion on how the holes in this shield affect the value?
