Hello all,

This is a recent acquisition; NSKK belt with claw buckle.

The buckle is RZM marked 5/8 and DRP on the reverse.

The belt is stamped 1325/40? RZM.

The inside of the belt has an RZM tag attached.

I found this at a place where a Soviet M3 Lee blew up. What model of star is this and was it put on the pilotka? Also, any tips for removing the rust off of it or should I not clean it?

Does any here have any website I can go to research a ww2 service number? I know how to find ww2 information but I am having trouble with post ww2 ones. I asked the same question on a us military forum site with zero response.
