One of my favorites. I have owned this one longer than any in my collection. M40 army helmets have come & gone, but was never able to move this one. Just has an overall look I find appealing. Plus it is a 68 shell which is my favorite size & these are tough to find in a 68. So it’s a keeper.

Hello to all. I wanted some opinions on these two Infanterie Sturmabzeichen, I know it’s against policy to post multiple items but these came as a pair when purchased, and look identical so I figured no harm. I have seen in previous posts badges with the hinge and catch hardware removed by the captor for purpose of display or insertion into a scrapbook. The reverses of these two badges seem too clean to me for that to be the case. My thoughts are these were taken as surplus that were never completed or issued. However it puzzles me as they do show wear and age. I m curious as to the manufacturer and thoughts on originality. I feel comfortable that they are period original, but if wrong I’d be glad to know. Any and all responses are welcome and appreciated! Thanks in advance. Best regards.

Hard to find and pricey online to buy book that has lots of pics of original tropical uniforms etc..
Good condition, price is £55 all in including UK P&P and paypal fees, for overseas sales postage to be added at cost. It was bought new by me though I can’t remember the price, but on amazon copies start AT ABOUT £75.
