Treudienst Ehrenzeichen awards and certificates
The second little collection I got last week is this group of Long Service Awards to a Railway Inspector in Berlin.
There is also another, older document dated April 1912 but I can’t understand it and need to do more research.
The original documents were accompanied by the appropriate medals in their cases.
Need help! Podhale Rifle Brigade
I recently managed to get my late father, MARIAN BEDNARZ WW2 service record from RAF Northolt, however there are some mysteries! He had briefly told me about his time in the 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade and Operation Market Garden and I intend to do research into this later but something else has got me thinking. The records show ‘he took part in the Norway Campaign of the Podhalanska Rifle Bgd’ 28/02/40 to 25/06/40. Can anyone enlighten me on this, I believe it to be The Podhale Rifle Brigade? I’ve Googled this and read a lot about their exploits at the time but am wondering if it would it be possible to obtain any of his service records?

Nice M16 Si66 Helmet
Hello,
Here’s a nice M16 Si66 helmet I acquired recently from a family. Believe it or not, it’s my first keeper, non-camo helmet for my collection.
It came as shown, complete with everything except for the little white tie string for the liner which is missing, unfortunately. The 3-cushions behind the leather pads were even intact.
