Dating a Luftschutz Helmet

Hello

Just curious about the Luftschutz "Gladiator" helmets. Can you tell the approximate date of manufacture by the construction of the helmet. (Three Pc, two, Single, etc.) Also, I believe that I read that the RL 2 numbering system came into use in 1938. Is that correct? Was it used until the end of the war?
Thank you for the help..

25 Year Jubilee Oaks

A recent addition to my Imperial collection acquired from a VERY trustworthy member on WAF. :)
I have been looking for an original set of these to go with my 1870 EK II for some time now.
These are attributed to the firm of AWS and are made of silver. These are one of the accepted versions available.
Ralph.

Hermann Goering….crystal glasses….

Hello,
I came into these champagne glass and/or goblet, was wondering if anyone has seen anything like these? I know from searching the forums there is much speculation to items like this. I’ve also seen a couple variants on HG monograms, but not this one. Any thoughts I would love to hear them. Thanks.

PS
I’ve tried rotating the pics first, they still come out like this.

Rad helmets…were they issued ??

Something different in the helmet category. RAD helmets.
Yes, they were issued, drawn from Luft & army stock & refurbished with usually one RAD decal on either side. Some wore a nat. color shield, some had an army eagle on one side & the RAD on the other. So anything was legit. Few pics to show. First 3 pics are a double decal army you can say. Heer decal on one side, RAD on the other

Ef 68 m40

Here is one I love for its’ honesty & basement or attic look. The patina on this is to die for. No post war handling wear, never in a collection before I grabbed it. The liner is still soft & pliable due to it being 1939 dated & constructed of somewhat quality leather , plus the fact they applied an ET style decal, leads me to think it was a very early issue M40 from EF before they settled on their own "house decal" a little later on which was the HJK. But EF helmets wore a variety of decals throughout the war

Love the way the decal chipped like it did. Typical poor quality application I think. EF was known for this & other issues as far as quality control.

I got laughed at when I bought this…don’t know why, I think it lovely !!
