I came across this heer buckle today and had some questions regarding its authenticity. The maker is marked as H&N 40 which I haven’t seen before. It doesn’t appear to be a batman or a pigeon head but I could be wrong there. Looking to get some second opinions. Thanks!

I wanted to get opinions on this visor cap from you all. I have a couple concerns. First and foremost, I know anything SS is already touchy territory for fakes, and on the inside of the cap is giant SS letters which I haven’t seen in other photos of authentic caps. The liner is a dark color instead of a light brown. The helmet skull is marked m1/52 and I wasn’t able to find any other markings on the cap itself. Another concern I have is near the front of the cap where a thin piece of paper material is by where you’d secure the metal insignia.

I’ve bought a number of Finnish bayonets over the past year, so I thought I had better show them off finally! Surprising to me, I’ve managed to obtain most of these here in New Zealand, a country that is not known for having a lot of Finnish anything available. There is also a very limited market for Finnish rifles and militaria so those items that do show up for sale tend to be reasonably cheap…
