Golden Kite order 7th

Hi guys.

I have just bought this lovely medal. The golden kite 7th.
It is very interesting to date these medals and in this case I think because of the letters are in gold colour this medal is not from WW2. I think it is from the 2nd Manchurian incident beacuse the lapped ribbon with this medal was issued in 1936.

But of course, I am not sure about it as I am not an expert. May be real experts in the forum could confirm or not my conclusions.

Thank you very much.

Hsat

HI guys
Sorry I haven’t been here for quite some time but it’s being one hell of a hot Summer :shok_yikes:(that’s my excuse anyway) This morning I needed to buy something from e-bay and came across this HSAT item number 302399294434
I always thought that HSAT liners were only made by BMB in WW2 ,so why is this one made by C&S ?
I’m sure someone has as answer
Thanking you in advance

Camouflage net scarf.

I was at a clients house doing some work for him and admiring some family medals he had on his wall when he pulled this out and offered it to me. He wanted to give it to me and money in exchange for the work but I refused the cash but I did accept the scarf. It was his brothers who served in the Canadian army and landed on Juno Beach, and ended up having a long life, on passing all his items went to his brother. The scarf is about 110cm by about 72cm (it might be bigger, I didn’t want to pull the cloth taut. The green and brown is darker in person than what you see in the pictures since I had to use a lighter green as a background to be able and see it well.

Friesch to Klara: October 1941

Hello folks.

This is the second of five letters I have, soon to be six. Feldpost is not at all rare, but I’d imagine coming across a chain of letters like this is somewhat rare given the massive amount floating about on the market. I was originally going to post these one by one in a single thread, but decided this method would probably be better.
This one is signed 10th of October 1941, a little over three months since the previous letter. The feldpost stamp is identical to the one on the last envelope. By now, I expect Mr Friesch has moved into Russia through the course of Operation Barbarossa. In his last letter, he noted that he was not looking forward to it after his experiences in Poland. I look forward to finding out what he has to say, but if the sense of foreboding in his previous writing is anything to go by, I imagine it will not be excellent news.

Apologies for the shady photographs. Using the flash on the camera produced a glare which made the handwriting illegible.

Best regards, B.B.
