I am terrible with rifles/guns etc.
Is this a short cav rifle or just a regular Japanese rifle
It has matching numbers.
Thank you for your time and help

Unfortunatley these are the only pics i have…
I recently acquired this great photo of this group. I have been doing some research on this unit, I would love to know the groups thoughts / knowledge on this unit and more importantly - the location of this picture? I would make uneducated guesses about the location according to the various SS schools I know about. Hopefully this photo can also serve to contribute something of value to the group as well…
Thank You for your continued help and guidance in my collecting knowledge!

I came across a group of WWII military/civilian photos that are interesting. They are of black GI’s in France and Germany in 1945. Even though most of the photos are in poor condition, I could could not pass the collection for a couple of bucks. Hopefully I can try to preserve them, though light cleaning did not seem to work.
I am especially interested in the photo of the soldiers at Camp Washington. I have not been able to find out much about this camp or its location. I am assuming that the soldiers are part of a truck transportation outfit. Any information would be appreciated.
