what exactly was this designed to carry? Ive seen them listed as "mortar carrier" but i am unsure if that is accurate?
any pointers appreciated!

Hello fellas,
Just want to show off some of my collection I have bought over the last couple of years. I will post them i dividually for you to look at.

This is my Luftwaffe Walking Out Bayonet.
Though technically it is not a bayonet it is a knife.
Lovely Stag Handle.
It has its original brown leather scabbard and is in good condition.

Question Finnish M40?

I recently bought this very interesting looking helmet from a Finnish vendor and I’m not quite what helmet this is exactly. To me it looks like a German M40 issued to the Finns. The decals have also been scraped off, possibly after the war I’m not sure.

If anyone could help me identifying this helmet I’d appreciate it.

Need help! Order of white falcon commander’s breast star?

I am looking for more information on this order. It was brought home by my great uncle during WW2 and has been sitting in a closet for the last 70plus years.
I believe it is a commander’s breast star of the order of the white falcon and I say that with limited information gained from web search.
