Need help! Mauser M/98K F1

In the process of buying a Mauser for myself, I recently got my license and the paperwork has been filed; as I found this 98k chambered in 30.06.
This specific issue strikes me as too good looking? I’ve heard the saying ‘If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.’

So I thought I would pick your brains just out of curiousity.

Greetings,
Jonas

Sa buckle or hitler’s buckle??? Thoughts?

I posted this buckle along with an SS buckle in the SS section of the forum.
This was largely because I was unsure what I had.
The other buckle was an SS buckle so I posted them together.
Anyway I was told originally that it may be a fantasy piece because there was no photographic evidence.
Then another forum member sent me the pages in this buckle book by Jack Angolia which seems to have pictured the very same buckle - unless I am missing something.
I got this from a vet’s son who was an Army Photographer.
He showed me some of his father’s photos and the below photo of some of the bringbacks.
I am confident it is NOT a fantasy piece but I would like more info.
Thoughts are appreciated.

MkII NHSR Helmet

I bought myself a nice National Hospital Special Reserve MKII helmet. These markings are normally found on MKIV’s so it was nice to find on an earlier helmet. It is marked front and back, slightly off center. Under the NHSR on the front the letters BMH are found which may mean British Medical Hospital.

The MKI liner is by J Compton Sons and Webb and dated 1938 (or possibly 39)
