I purchased this Ushanka from a Military Antiques store Tuesday, and would like to know any information regarding it. Some information I would like to know is: Is this a Military or Civilian Ushanka, manufacturing date, and any translation of the Russian words. Please any information anyone could supply would help.
I just inherited this hinomaru yosegaki. I know that there are lots of fakes out there. I was hoping to find out if this is real and if it is possible to determine the soldier’s name that carried it. I can provide different photos if I am holding it backwards or the image isn’t clear enough.
Picked up this double sided HJ Pennant. Great multi piece sewn construction on this. Just a couple very small stains but nothing bad at all. Woven in white thread onto both sides is the unit number, "23/252". The hanging end is equipped with three original snap clips. Nice display sized piece here and was happy to acquire. Hope you like.
