I have recently purchased a British Surgeon field Kit roll complete with (possibly original?) instruments: thermometer, hemostatic clamps, bone chisel (?), suture/stitching needle and thread in a glass vial, presumably floating in alcol. The roll is dated 1943, instruments are not date, o not display the WD Broad Arrow but are unmistakaby British made.

A recent purchase:a Khaki Drill HBT US Made bush shirt, unissued, still displaying the tailor/cutter tags. The Bush Shirt does not sport any British WD label, only the label of the US producer, an this is pretty strange for a War Aid item. Could the shirt have a British WD label stitched on reception in the UK? Are there any other evidences of War Aid uniforms lacking the British WD acceptation label? There still another opens question: in British nomenclature, this would be a Bush Jacket, not Bush Shirt, that would have only two pockets and a half fly, being pullover. Any explanations? Thank you in advance for you help!

Good afternoon, I just want to show you my latest addition, It’s a Yugoslavian pilot’s gravity knife.

Asking on behalf of a Facebook user trying to research family, having drawn a complete blank with Northolt.

Can anyone help in adding information on this person or his uniform/capbadge please? He is Pawel Makarow born 26 March 1916 and Polish. The reverse of the photo is written "Athens Greece 1945". Only his post 1948 history is known.

I wanna share two "new" Mexican Adrians with you.. I sold them on ebay , but before they fly off to their new owners, i would like to show them here at WRF, for in case somebody´s going to do research on MX- Adrians, they can get some pics / comparison material here.

Both are complete and in good condition. As usual, the liner is missing (.. i have never seen a MX- Adrian with liner).
The Badges are usually removed, but here they are still present.
One is badged for INFANTRY , the other one for CAVALRY, both are French made, as they have RIVETS.
There are Mexican made "clones" who have no rivets.

The Mexican Army used the M26cAdrian from 1935 untl more or less 1948. They are getting rarer everyday.

At the last pics you can see the 4 Mx Adrians that i have at this moment, the 2 sold ones, and 2 from my personal collection.. I hope you like them..
