Hi guys,

I’m new to this forum, but it looks pretty interesting already ;).

I was metal detecting in southern germany on a farm field, which was located next to a former Reichsarbeitsdienst station and found this ring, which looks like a SS Ehrenring. The skull seems to be upside down, but that’s the only weird thing which I noticed. The inside reads "lb Meier 21.12.38 H. Himmler", the "S" of "Seinem lieben" seems to be gone. One of the runes on the outside is completely worn off as well.

Do someone know if this ring is a genuine SS Ehrenring or a replica ?

Hello,

I received this belt of ammo in the early 1970s as a Christmas present from my dad. I’m hoping someone can help me with its identification and age. It’s a 100 round belt and I believe it to be .50 caliber (?) training rounds. I’m not sure if it was for airforce training or ground forces, and whether it dates to WWII or the post war period. The bottoms of bullets are marked with numbers as are the metal links. Thanks for any information and comments.

Hello folks.

My first NSDAP armband. As I tend to try to collect a little bit of everything, it will also most likely be my last.
This one is completely free of moth damage, but not from wear and tear. As can be seen, one arm of the swastika has frayed slightly. There are a few dirty marks on the white field, and the stitching holding the two ends together has come apart. This was advertised as likely to have been removed from a tunic or overcoat.

It came from a trusted seller, and I’m confident that it’s authentic. A nice armband that’s all there, even if it is a bit scabby.

Hello folks.

This one is another potential addition to my Home Front helmet collection. However, before I pull the trigger, I have some doubts as to the authenticity of the ‘M’ painted on the dome. Does this look to have been added recently? I only ask as it’s an eBay listing, and the site has a reputation for being home to a great many con artists.
