I was wondering if anyone has come across a stickpin like this for veterans of the Condor Legion in any reference books or photo’s ? I realize Condor Legion items are routinely faked and this might very well be a fantasy piece. The construction and aging look appropriate but I don’t even know if these existed. I have seen another like this for sale in the form of a lapel pin, both are from Spain. Any opinions are welcome, Thanks, Al

Took a bit of selling to purchase this! True army paratrooper bandoleer. These were unique for airborne soldiers. The integral frog & suspenders make it paratrooper model. There are a few other variations used by army & cavalry. In my 30 + yrs this is the third I’ve seen & few others that have had the suspenders/ shoulder straps cut off. I suspect either by the paratroopers for greater comfort in the field or by GI’s off the deceased.
