Here is a ring from Kampfgeschwader 26. It has "H.P." and "Starvanger 10.4.40" Inscribed in cursive inside the ring. I believe it is authentic, I just like to share.

Hi All - I bought this helmet around 1977 for I think $24.99 or $29.99 - can’t recall. After 35 years or say, I pulled the thing apart (like an ass - broke one of the prongs to the rivets) -

Anywho, the data is thus:

Helmet: SE66
Liner: Schuberthwerk DRP 1940, Braunsweig
Chinstrap: C. Korn, Alzey 1943

My question is what, if anything, I should do to treat the leather? It is getting stiff and such.

Also, is that signature from a soldier in Norway, or a German? Can’t make it out.

BTW, my brother and I added the emblems to the helmet - water based and issued by UI - memories -

a dealer in antique shop my wife in has these two Japanese items that were in a trunk lot she got. She offered to me but I’m not sure if second item wwii or postwar. the flag looks post to me. I would appreciate information on the second item. thanks.

Hello all,

Looks to at one time have had four reverse pins on it. Any thoughts on this one? It has an RZM logo on the reverse, but I may be blind and cannot see a number with a M1 prefix anywhere.
