Hello ! I`m from Russia, Kaliningrad city. Before 1945 Konigsberg, East Prussia.

Here is my Volkssturm ID`s.

First is VST 25/66. This batallion was founded in Konigsberg. Very rare !

Second is VST 25/235. Was founded in Goldap (in Poland today). It was famous Volkssturm batallion. About this battalion there is a special book because it participated in the massacres in Nemmersdorf

Hello people!

I bought this one as I had that feeling when you see something and it’s like talking to you. The price was amazing so even if you say it is a bad one it won’t be a loss…
What do you think about it?
What could be the story behind it?
I find it very weird that only the interesting part survived and in that condition…
Could someone have cut it in the past to keep the eagle?
I think I see traces of glue at the back side and also some weird part of sharpening or welding…

whilst not military as such, I thought this might be of interest, for sale local to me, but I did not get it, the pics are hopefully enough to show the main details, (sorry only with my phone) especially the chinstrap fastener which is the same as seen on the Para Lightweight and the Para Instructors helmets as well as some other helmets used in NI that I noticed on the Composite site.
