Question Flugzeugführerabzeichen: Brüder Schneider Wien

Hello gentlemen!

Everything looks good to me but I know the value of the expertise perched on the branches of this fine forum. Does anyone agree it’s good or disagree that it is bad?
Thanks in advance!

K.M. Badges

Hi Chaps, I thought I’d post this. I picked it up a few weeks back. All are original badges; but they have had the fittings removed & glued to a Formica board!! The owner got them from his uncle who picked them up when serving in WW2. The chap used to go into schools doing lectures, hence the reason for the display:weep:

Cheers,

Richard.

Beaded helmet production…….. myths & mayhem

No, I’m NOT reigniting the debate over whether or not these were MEANT to have the bead in or done to identify them as ballistic rejects - everyone has their side of the fence on that one - but I did want to show ( like my comments on the lot stamping method ) the sort of tools probably used to create the bead.

The above machine is a "bead roller". these are used to roll a stiffening bead or rib or ridge into a piece of sheet metal and are standard equipment for the metal fabricator. Possibly a mechanical version of one of these would have been used to roll the bead into the shells. This is the same way the rolled edge was done on the M35 / M40 models, just with different dies.

Of interest is that the various manufacturers did not have the same machines - or dies. We know this because the beads are different shapes.

patch 101th airborne

Hi, I bought these patches of the 101th airborne. Please, someone can tell me if they are originals of World War II. What type are they?
I have looked at the website of Mark Bando, and it is difficult to determine the type.
Thank you very much

Need help! Authentic German Flag? HELP!!

1122854112285511228561122857112285811228591122860

The first flag here is one I just acquired. But I have my doubts about it’s authenticity. It lacks many of the same features I’ve seen on other German flags, such as markings (I’m not familiar with the marking it does have, and it does have what seems to be faded markings), I’m not sure of the size, but I’ve compared it to another of my German flags that’s 75cm x 126cm. The material seems thin, and the design lacks the kind of crude printing the larger flag has. It seems too good, and at the same time forced to look old. Perhaps it’s been washed, because there is what looks like faint markings (as mentioned). Over all I’m really not sure.
regards,

Need help! Origial M34 Police Helmet?

Hi everyone. I’m a relatively new collector and made a bid on the pictured helmet. Owner says it’s original but admits the decals are post war. Asking 80 euro. Just wanted some feedback. Thank you in advance for your time.11228481122849112285011228511122852
