Liner is discolored and missing in places, supple in others. I only know what I have read, but it looks similar to pictures of other blooded samples to my unschooled eye.

This one arrived yesterday. A most honest SE 66 Police. Nicely worn, these I prefer this way over an unissued condition one. An M40 is more of a battle helmet so it should have some honest wear to it, as this does IMO. This now completes my police collection, I have not had an SE M40 in years.
Had to trade my Jap type 90 for it. Hated to let it go, but I would rather have this.

Of course it now takes it’s place on my desk. Took some outdoor pics this morning.

Here is a well worn but very reliable Zentra watch with a stamped branch code D for Dienstuhr Luftwaffe.

Typical for these watches the letter D is larger than the six digits. Zentra produced one batch from 600—/605— and this watch is numbered 602778.

Most of the zinc plating has worn off over the years but still looks good. I believe Kriegsmarine watches made by Zentra were chrome plated which was harder wearing.

Hello guys, here’s a textbook early Eickhorn recently added to the collection that’s not an easy one to find, it has the replacement pommel, 33-35 maker marked blade and scabbard with the harder to find beaded eyelets. Enjoy the pics.

Hello,

Well I need to apologize. It took me hours to save all these photos, shoot and upload 90 pics. I now realized the new camera I got has some pictures sideways. It is a pet peave of mine and others here so some grace for me this time is appreciated. Very sorry. If you can tell me how to easy fix them here I will do that when I am more rested. Pulling an all nighter for work and needed a break for some fun.

This album is from Julius Spriestersbach/ Starts with a newspaper clipping with his death notice in 2005. The album shows his days starting in the HJ through the war and his wedding pictures in uniform. It is well illustrated, captioned and I could not even shoot close ups of everything so I tried to hit the best pics. Hope you enjoy it. I recently picked this up and really like it. With some time and help I would like to research more about him.
