Are any members here going to be at the Menin Gate on Nov 11th?? I will be there laying a Wreath, I am flying out on the 3rd of Nov and will visit again the Battlefields ect of Flanders and the Somme, then on the 12th My Friend and I will be heading up to Arnhem for a week, friends there are taking us metal detecting, and of course we will be driving around the area.

Sorry for the bad quality of the pics.

Konteradmirals Otto Klüber (portrait) and Waldemar Kober (standing on the photo).

They both recieved the Spainenkreuz, but I don’t know the Class?
Klüber perhaps the Spanienkreuz in Silber mit Schwertern?
Kober also? Although he was the Chief Engineer on the Cruiser ‘Nürnberg’, so perhaps ohne Schwertern?

Also, 2 unknown Awards below their Iron Crosses 1st Class? Klüber’s is unfortunately covered by his hand…
