Were any Russian Adrians blue?

Everything I’ve read says they were always painted tan prior to being issued to Russian soldiers. This one is on eBay.

German trench knife

Hi. I recently bought this German trench knife, manufacturer E & f Horster. It has all the characteristics of an original knife, but I can’t find any information about this manufacturer for this type of blade? Does anyone have any similar, or know something about it?1384531

Heer M43 cap for review

I picked up this Heer M43 cap for a reasonable price but now I’m having some reservations mostly about the type of wool and color and some of the stitching. It’s a late war model which may account for the different type of wool and some of the sloppy stitching particularly around the bill. The cap was stored and shipped improperly so I had to stretch it on a large glass head to take out the creases and restore the shape. All opinions are welcome. Thanks Al

Chained NSKK Parts Dagger

I saw the following dagger up for auction and was initially quite interested in trying to pick it up. Something about it just didn’t seem right, however, and eventually I came to the conclusion that the hanger had been added after the fact. I then realized that it was, in fact, listed as a parts dagger, which fit my conclusion, but not knowing a lot about these daggers and what exactly to look for with the hanger, I thought I would post it here for comments. What ultimately was the indicator for me was that the suspension rings from the scabbard were too large compared to all the other chained NSKK daggers I had seen and the fit between the handle and cross guards just didn’t seem right. I don’t know about the authenticity of the chain itself though, and would be curious to hear what parts people thought were original to the dagger vs. added.

Opinions, please

Hi everyone.

I think this is my first time in this section of the forum, but I am seeing this on ebay and the price is interesting, as long as it is authentic, obviously.
It is announced like this:

NORTH VIETNAM ARMY VIETNAM WAR ERA 7 MEDAL RIBBON BAR

1384423

1384424

Thanks in advance.

My first SA dagger - ASSO SOLINGEN

Good-day to everyone,

I just wanted to express my excitement after receiving my first SA dagger. I typically collect relics of the first and second world war, so having something shiny for a change is a breath of (expensive) fresh air. Does anyone have any recommendations for a type of storage case? I can’t possibly display next to the piles and piles of rust. More photos can be uploaded at request.

Regards
