Hi everyone

So today i just bought a German canteen, but i’m a little unsure if it is a reproduction and/or when(year) exactly it’s from, i couldn’t really see any markings on the cap, bottleneck or the straps, i tried to take the cover off, but the buttons are a bit sticky, so i didn’t want to use force and end up ripping the cover. Anyways i hope some of you can help me.

I’ve spent much of today mulling over what type of tunic I want to pursue purchasing next, and keep coming back to the tropical/southern tunics. I found this Heer Tropical Tunic on https://www.emedals.com/an-army-heer-m43-tropical-tunic. I’m honestly not too experienced with uniforms, but for some reason something just appears off to me (I hope I’m wrong though because I would love to own a tropical tunic cool militaria). The collar tabs and buttons don’t look quite correct to me, but I wouldn’t be surprised if im wrong either. Any and all opinions are welcome!

I picked up this December of 1944 dated Ike jacket recently. It seems this vet started in the 7th Army and got a couple campaign stars for hisAfrica Middle East and Europe ribbon. At some point he got a purple heart and finished the war serving with the European Theater Command. I am not well versed enough in the characteristics of period jackets, but this one looked good to my novice eyes.
Any thoughts?

I got this medal and ribbon recently. Not sure if it was a wartime issued medal, from what I could determine they began awarding these in 1942, if I recall properly.
