I am a newbie looking to start a helmet/militaria collection. I have a ssh40 (dated 1954), a Serbian m59/85 and a post war m1 shell. I paid 60 dollars for both the Russian and US helmet, both are in extremely good shape with very little wear. And I spent 20 dollars for the Serbian.

I am looking to add a Vietnam helmet and a gulf war era PASGT to my collection and I was wondering what I should pay each. I was recently out bid on a chocolate chip camo PASGT helmet which sold for 28 dollars + 19 dollar shipping which I think was a good deal?

I would like to know what you guys think I should pay for a PASGT helmet with liner and camo cover as well as a Vietnam M1 with liner and camo cover. Thanks

orginal? ORYGINALNA SZABLA WZ34 LUDWIK

Hello everyone, I was hoping one or a number of you may assist myself and the being that found this nice relic whilst metal detecting up at RAF Banff. top serial is C3957, Bottom one C2973 but on the same side as that one a tiny circular stamp what looks to be D9 in the circle or B9 or even 60 upsidedown(?) any help would be appreciated by both of us. I think its an aircraft light(?) the glass is intact and you can see inside the piece itself.

I’ve been looking to purchase a tropical/summer tunic and have come across a few that caught my eye. I’m still fairly new and still getting used to collecting, but am starting to learn what to look for with these tunics; However, some of these tunics appear strange to me (perhaps I’ve just never seen them before, as I still am new to collecting :p). For the sake of not flooding the forum with threads I’ll post any others here below, any opinions/info is welcome and very much appreciated! cool militaria

Waffen-SS Tropical Tunic: This one really is a red flag to me as I’ve never seen one like it. I’m not loving the lack of collar stitching and the insignia, but I’d greatly appreciate any opinions or information of this tunic

(P.S. thanks again to everyone for all the help, I’ve only been collecting for around 2 years now so still have much to learn, but this forum has greatly helped me grow as a collector :D)
