Thanks to all who helped on prior post. I am now looking at acquiring the below higher level armband instead of the simpler one. I have 2 concerns though: (1) I have seen these with the actual swasti being made of different connected pieces as opposed to one piece and (2) the white circle is usually ribbed and not flat like this.

Any help appreciated!

Not sure if this is the right place to ask or if the Discussions hub is better, but we have all heard stories of the "Ostbattalions" of WWII. Russians who joined the German Army, either as conscripts from the ranks of POWs to Anti Communists. But, does anyone know of a WW1 equivalent to this? I’m mostly asking out of curiosity and would really like to know. I can’t find anything on Google, but maybe someone here has a reference book that mentions it? If this is in the wrong thread, please do move it or let me know. Thank you in advance!
