wanted Ken Niewiarowicz’s German Combat Helmets Book

Follow the wanted section

by: HetzersGonnaHetz

Description: Looking for a copy of Ken Niewiarowicz’s book on German Combat Helmets. Don’t mind used/ heavily used condition as long as it’s still legable. They are asking a huge price online but very few are selling, so I am happy to pay top $/£, just not the ridiculous asking prices online.
Kindest Regards lads,
Harvey

British webbing Map case No.2 , W & G Ltd 1944

Technically not Pattern 1937 webbing, (I believe the No1 type was approved in 1940), This type No.2, is a variation of the original No.2 and dates from 1944.

They feature a celluloid window cover for the map and a brown pressed composite board of "Tufnol" (thank goodness they don’t make it anymore) and a few pockets for protractor and china pencils. Maker is "W & G Ltd 1944" (Waring & Gillow)

Period photo is of NZ Army officers on the Treasury Islands in 1944.

Some Heer visor caps.

I was shuffling things around in the war room in preparation for a major change-up in my display and decided to throw a bunch of my Heer visor caps together.

M40 Without Decals, Good or Bad?

Hello all, I have recently decided that a German Helmet is the next best addition for my collection. I need to do some more saving an would like to buy a good condition single decal M40. This one has come up and seems to be in rough condition but the name has got me interested. I also have no idea on its originality, it’s priced a $500 which seems a little steep but I may be able to haggle him down a bit. Lastly I would like to know about any good helmet books for someone like me who won’t Specifically collect helmets but is interested in buying more than one.

Any help is always appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Bodhi

Assistance requested

I’‘m considering purchasing a German double decal M35 locally but I’m unsure as to decals. The helmet is in rough shape but even so is priced low enough if authentic that I’d acquire it. I own a few helmets that are legitimate GI bring backs but haven’t done much collecting other than these. The decals look off to me compared to other helmets but I’ve only dealt with helmets is much better shape. Any help appreciated.1378185137819113781881378189137819013781921378193
