Hi fellow collectors !

My name is Jack Zhuge, from Asia. I’m interested in collecting World War II souvenirs. I like the Soviet Union and Japan in World War II very much. I’m looking forward to learning from those who are more experienced than me. Thank you for your support :)

Advice on M17 helmet

Hi, came across this helmet for sale for $250 US. The seller claims the paint to be original with the owners name inscribed on the inside rim. It has ‘ Cpt Lewis Zarby Remagen Germany AM Rhien July 1st 1919’ scratched onto the inside of the dome’. just after opinions on whether this would be original and why it would be dated after the ceasefire, did something occur here after the war?

Advice on m40 helmet

I have come across this m40 helmet for $300 us, the seller claims that it retains 99% of its original textured paint, the leather liner is not original but the liner band is apparently untouched. Just after opinions on authenticity and whether this is a good deal. Thanks

Advice appreciated

Hi, I have come across this m16 helmet for sale, the seller claims that it’s paint is all original from ww1, just after second opinions on whether this is true as it seems to be in too good of condition.137549613754971375498137549913755001375501137550213755031375511137549613754971375498137549913755001375501137550213755031375511137549613754971375498137549913755001375501137550213755031375511

Unknown Collar Patches and Shoulder Straps

Hello all, for some reason I’ve had these a long time and never asked about them, I kind of just ignored them as they came with a small collection I bought. I am nearly 90% sure they are not War time German, I am thinking maybe post war German. I am asking for some identification of them. I think they are normal colours (red for artillery, yellow for signals, etc.) but I don’t know if any of this changed post war. Last thing is what appear to be sergeant shoulder boards that have a point on the end.

As always click images for better quality and if you need specific or close ups just ask.

Thanks in advance,
Bodhi
