– Good morning War Relics. I acquired this piece from the collection of a man offloading some of his fine pieces. I’m trying to learn all I can about the piece but information is tricky to come by. I’ve never seen the stag’s head that’s located on the cross guard on any other example thus far. The JA Henckels logo lends me to believe the knife is in the 1900 and beyond range. Another oddity is the #15 stamped under the "staples" located under both the locket and chape.

Good morning everybody,

I would like to ask you, the experts, if you could, please, tell me if these things can be from ww2 Engine-generator. They were found on the field on battle and the initial hint was that it would be coming from ww2 Engine-generator. Given that I am not very familiar with how the parts of the ww2 Engine-Generator should look like, I would like to kindly ask you for the confirmation or rejection of the initial information.

The size of the plate is 14,5 cm x 16 cm.

Hello everyone,

I’ve had an account on here for a while, but this is my first time posting on the forum. I recently started to collect helmets from other countries besides the US and wanted to know your thoughts on this one. I just bought this French F1 helmet on Ebay. It’s dated 1979 and is named to a Sgt Legall. The only thing I know about these helmets is from the little I’ve read about them online. Im also wondering if anyone knows why it’s painted blue on the outside? Most of the ones I’ve seen are all green.

Hi there!

Midaged man unusually intrested in WW2 and tanks in particulare.
Lives in Sweden Gothenburg and collects RC BB tanks and have a pretty nice pile of books and writings about it.
Stumbled on some shellcasings this week and needs some help with 1 later on.
