I need your advice on this Normandy Camo Luftwaffe M40 helmet, in your opinions what is the authenticity of it. I usually steer clear of them due to replication. But I really like the color scheme of this one. It has the manufacture Q62 and lot number T5151.

Just bought this from a friend who found it in the loft of his house.

It looks ‘right’ to me, but I would appreciate any input from the experts on here.

I believe it to be a totally original M40 Single Decal helmet.

As can be seen from the photos, there is still grass/dirt between the liner and the helmet shell.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Hello folks.

Another spur of the moment purchase. Not sure what I was thinking when I bought this one, as it’s a bit of an oddity to say the least. A ground-dug instruction plate from a ‘Feldküche’, or field kitchen. This one appears to give instructions for the usage of the in-built coffee pot. It’s rough around the edges, but still perfectly legible. A nice little background display item!
