A frame repro

Hi everyone,

Just thought I’d post some pics of my repro A frame to go on my winter mannequin setup. I chose a repro as originals are very expensive and the A frame will be covered by a mess tin & Zeltbahn anyway. Apparently the previous owner bought this thinking it was an original - it looks aged and it even smells old haha. Definitely looks better than a fresh, new repro. I like the touch with the ‘makers mark’ on the bottom right metal clip.

Question Sonderdienst Generalgouvernement - SS Control in the East insignia?

As I am new to this forum I apologize if this in posted in the wrong area.

I have collected Generalgouvernement insignia for close to 40 years and this sleeve shield is the rarest of the rare, very few people will have ever seem this shield or collar patches.
I would appreciate your views as to if the Sonderdienst Generalgouvernement would have at any time come under the control of the SS for operations in the East.
