For you Kriegsmarine aficionados–a pre/early-war Admiral visor by DOVA (Deutscher Offizierverein Armeemarinehaus).
Unissued condion; doeskin wool body, & matching all-bullion insignia.

Out of the 3 branches of the Wehrmacht, the KM had the least amount of General-equivalent ranks, (being the smallest service), so Admiral hats are much more rare than WH/LW General visors.

Just picked up this late mint war printed armband. It’s different from the multipiece examples that I own, in that the materiel isn’t floppy, like you usually see, could this be down to the print on the cloth, it is unused. The top & bottom seams seem the same as normal, but what has ‘foxed’ me is the fancy stitching joining the 2 ends together,not seen this before, is this acceptable ? The white is not brilliant white, but but ‘off white’, the interior looks the same as other printed examples that I have seen, maybe the swaz is a bit more blacker, the dimensions are length 200mm & width 105mm. Never handled one of these before, wondered your opinions guys !

Hi all,
I have recently been offered a bunch of German medals, a flag and a Kriegsmarine belt.
The flag and belt will be shown in the appropriate section.
Can I ask the experts among you if these items are Original?
I am sorry for the bad quality pictures but I have not got the stuff yet, it will come next week.

Hi all,

Can you guys help me with this?
The seller says it’s a mid 50’s airborne patch because of the blue edge.

But this looks to me as a type 3 patch with blue borders.

The eye is not a postwar scribble eye, and the rule with the blue borders are only apply on types 10? If I am correct?
