Well Sunday was nice. 80 degrees & sunny. Took the wife & Shorty to an antique car show in Ft. Lauderdale.
The lime green hemi charger has his spread sheet out. Cost for ground up restoration…$415K. Yes, close to 1/2 million. My favorite was the black corvette with the 427…temptation was there to sell some helmets & get back into cars again.
Couple shots of the wife & shorty at the restored Good Humor Ice cream truck.

Got this one from Espenlaub a few days ago. These books are very common, but it’s pretty rare to encounter them with the dust jacket still intact.
As the official yearbook of the Wehrmacht, these covered the military exploits of the German armed forces over the previous year. In this case, the book also covers the latter part of 1939, beginning with the invasion of Poland. I believe further editions were published in 1941 and 1942, with publication ceasing when the war began to turn against Germany in 1943.
Although I cannot read German (yet) it is very interesting to flip through the pages and view the photographs and illustrations. Of particular interest to me was a cross-section artist’s impression of a section of the Maginot Line. I did not photograph every page, as the book is over 300 pages thick. I picked a few that were particularly eye-catching. Also featured is the foldout map inside the back cover, which remains in good condition. The fragility of the dust jacket makes me afraid to handle this one, but I do not regret buying it. Once my German has improved in the future, I’ll take it out again and read it properly!
Ok this will be a out of the blue post from me. Since i am in the age demographic that uses Instagram, it was brought to my attention there was someone on the app buying ww2 guns and cutting them up and modifying/destroying them
I had to see this for myself. Searched up his account and jesus. He really does enjoy doing this. I think mainly for the reaction as everyone is annoyed. He cut up a perfectly good ww2 lee enfield rifle and turned it into a star wars blaster and then cut up a mosin nagant and turned it into a weird sports version. I bet these are guns some people would kill to own and here he is destroying them to make crappy upgrades . He defends his actions by saying my property. I can do what i want to me thats not justifiable enough. notcool nothing can be done to stop him really in that regard.
Im absolutely shocked at this. Thats two perfectly fine rifles destroyed. I will keep this thread updated if he destroys more. He tends to use a saw in the videos so thats what i have screenshotted.

A picture of him, you could say this is naming and shaming, but its his fault for having a public Instagram account so that means he willing to have this photo taken elsewhere.
