Swedish M38 Mauser Rifle

Hello everyone,

Here is my latest rifle, a Swedish M38 Mauser made by Husqvarna in 1942. No import marks and matching from what I can tell. Has a threaded muzzle for blank firing attachment. Rifle isn’t immaculate but the bore looks about 8/10 so should be a good shooter. Previous owner added the sight hood which seems to be quite loose (compared to a k98 hood), sling and 5 stripper clips. I already had a couple of m1896 bayonets.

NSDAP flag: information/authentification pls

Hi– I am new here. This flag has come into my possession. It came into the possession of a relative no later than the very early 1990s, and likely in the late 1980s — possibly through a friend, or possibly purchased at a show or auction. I’d love to get some opinions as to authenticity, as well as the specific purpose/use/possible provenance of the flag. I can post better photos and details if necessary. It roughly measures 94cm x 94 cm or thereabouts. Many thanks

German tanks at the Musée des Blindés

I visited here in 2010. What a beautiful town and countryside, and a world class armor museum. God blessed me with the opportunity that day to go inside a king tiger. I hope you enjoy the photos.
I would defiantly recamend any tank enthusiast visit this place.

Hindenburg Trench Candle

I won this nice little piece in a raffle a week ago.

A nice little piece of history. These "Hindenburglicht’s" (Trench lights) were used as a source of lighting used in the trenches of WW1

The shell was made out of a pasteboard and the candle out of tallow. They could burn for a few hours.

You can see the candle is a bit glossy. That is due to the 90 degree heat and humidity we are experiencing now. :)

Enjoy!

Rare Original Latvian Waffen SS Skull Totenkopf

Click to the picture to follow the sales

by: Arran

Description: This is a rare thin aluminum skull locally made in Latvia for their Waffen SS troops. They are observed in numerous period photos being worn on both overseas caps and visor caps, and this variation is easily researched right here on the forum. They are really, really tough to find with both prongs and no distortion or damage. A much underpriced skull based on scarcity!
