Collection Display?

Does anyone have any suggestions on displaying my collection? I’m confined to a single room which also holds my camera collection. As of now, I have 103 Kodak cameras on two bookcases. The cameras I don’t have already are getting harder to find, so I’ve gone to full time militaria. I’ve got wall space and can make more if needed. I’m looking to maximize my space to display items such as hats, helmets, gas masks and other field gear. Also, how would you recommend displaying medals? I have some already and other people are holding some for me. Right now, all of this is on my dresser and is packed. Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Below I have included pictures of my main obstacle.

Thanks

4 inch portion of the first Alantic telehraph Cable 1858. Sold by Tiffany Uniqe peice of history!

Wanted to share with you guys one of my cherished historical pieces.

The completion of the first transatlantic telegraph cable in 1858 was a cause for much celebration on both sides of the Atlantic. Tiffany & Company of New York purchased the cable remaining on board the USS Niagara after the successful completion of the cable and sold 4-inch sections as souvenirs. Each section of cable was banded at the ends with brass ferrules and had a brass plaque that read "

"ATLANTIC TELEGRAPH CABLE/GUARANTEED BY/TIFFANY & CO. BROADWAY NEW YORK 1858 ‘
The cable souvenirs originally sold for 50 cents and came with a reproduced letter of authenticity from Cyrus W. Field, the pioneer of the transatlantic cable system. The jubilation turned to jeers when the cable failed a few weeks later, and Tiffany never sold its supply of cable

If this is in the wrong place let me know I will move it.

Carcano Rifle ‘Barn Find’ help Please

I picked this rifle up out as a barn find in really tough condition that at least will not get any worse than it was.
I am having trouble trying to figure out the correct model designation from what I have researched. I was going with Model 38 Troop Special but would like to confirm, barrel length. 17 1/2" or 45 cm both approximate but close. The stock has the cut to accommodate the folding type bayonet. I also am not able to make out the first number or letter in the serial number. The nose cap appears to the the Fucile style also. It came with a sling as a bonus that is still serviceable. Please correct me if I am wrong. All opinions are appreciated.
John

This one is coming up for sale and would like your opinions please. I have looked at other posts and this one does not seem to have he level of detail in the eagle as seen on others. The other details seem to compare well. All opinions are appreciated.

Heer Wehrpas

I picked up this rather interesting Army Wehrpas today it has a accompanying document dated July 7, 1939. The Wehrpas has rather many enteries, and was wondering if anyone could give it a go on its translation to English. The writing style can be difficult at times for me to read
