NSDAP Ortsgruppen visor cap

Hello Forum.

I would like to hear some opinions on this beatet political ortsgruppen visor cap.
it is not a cap i own, but maybe could purchase if it checks out ok…
the interior is pretty chewed up…and insignia a bit broken.. only pics i do have.. but more could be requested if it stand a chance of being what it states!
just wanted a political cap for years to go into display with some other political items, but is not my main collecting area… and this one is not that expensive. And for a display it could do i think:)

Best regards.

Need help! South Australain Tower Carbine Musket Parts?

Greetings all,
I realise these items are a little more antiquated than the norm on this forum but I am hoping someone would have some knowledge on them.
Well out of my knowledge base; found at a local antiques store, I believe them to be parts from a South Australian Issued Tower Carbine flintlock rifle. Can anyone confirm?
I know that any pre-federation military items are quite rare here in Oz.
Cheers

Need help! Original WW2 K43 stock?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been looking around for a K43 stock for a couple months now. I have all the parts for a 1945 K43 minus the stock. I found this one online. I know the buttstock is a reproduction but what do you guys think of the wooden stock itself? Is it original from ww2? If it is, what do you think is a good price for it? Thank you guys in advance I appreciate you guys!

Alan

PS I’m sorry if the pictures aren’t the best.

This one is a proper item.

Ok, so after finding the Bundeswehr tunic on flea-bay with it’s tampered with decorations, a fellow forum member and I came to an agreement of sale, whereby I will take ownership of this tunic and visor cap.
The visor cap;

My Luftwaffe M35 helmets.

As requested, here are some photos of my newly arrived Luft DD M35 with the early drooptail eagle.

I decided to grab my other Luft M35 DD that I have owned for many years and throw it in there too. The very sharp-eyed may notice that one has a reproduction chin strap on it. :( It’s a place holder until I can get an appropriate original, but I have never gotten around to finding one for it all these years. Such that the fittings on the repop are showing signs of aging! LOL.

The original strap on the earlier M35 is period shortened, cut to a point with a knife. The soldier may have had a thin face and needed to cinch the strap tight and didn’t like the excess strap poking out under the brim of the helmet.
