I’m looking for original Monte Cassino Crosses, preferably with matching Legitymacja.
Also, if you have any Polish 2nd Corps units’ badges, I would like to hear from you.
The same goes for the 1st Polish Corps stationed in GB, with emphasis on the 1st Polish Armored Division.
Thanks,
Greg
I had a chance to check out a Type 95 NCO sword the other day, and went home to research the markings…without taking photos of the entire thing. From what I can see it appears to be a real one, but I only have photos of the handle to share here.
The only red flag I am seeing, however, is that the screw/nut on the handle has been replaced with a piece of dowel at some point. I believe all Type 95s of this cast handle type should have the screw present. How much would this affect the value?
I would welcome any and all feedback on the originality of the handle, since that’s all I can share. Also, the number on the blade matches that on the scabbard throat.
Thank you in advance for any insight!
I have just been trying to do a bit of research with the view to purchasing an early NVA helmet with a national flag decal. I have seen a few online, however I am wondering are these being faked? I have not seen that many and would have thought that if a fake decal would drive the price up then there would be a lot more out there as it would be a pretty simple alteration to make.
I would be interested to hear other people’s thoughts on this.
Cheers.
some new additions came today. A few 3rd Reich award documents, all with handwritten signatures of Army or Division commanders. Fans of miniature decorations will be happy, too. About ten German minis from the WW1 and/or WW2 were listed.
Imperial period is represented by Duchy of Anhalt, with Friedrich Cross, two different minis of them and relating document.
regards
Tom
