I am sorry to ask for help. I have limited email access and a collector emailed this to me today on my website asking for help. I cannot dig into the threads due to my location and time factor. He has it on hold. I also admit these are something I have stayed away from for no greater reason of they are highly faked as much of our hobby is and I have more limited knowledge on these. Can you let me know soon so I can help this fella out. I am trying to get him to join here
PS. From my limited knowledge and study it looks like a authentic example but I wanted a second opinion or third
Hi guys,
Its been slim pickings for me lately but I grabbed this as I thought it was fairly unique and not often seen? ( utilitarian as it is its not surprising )
Its a small ( 40cm x 65cm ) version of the Deutsche Reichspost mail sack. Found in a Latvian attic so the seller said, which may or may not be true but how else would something like this survive 76 years?
A nice size that will display well amongst my other "junk"……cool militaria
Anyway, just thought you might like to see what all those letters were carried in?
Cheers, Dan
Not sure where to post this.
Has anyone else seen a NSFK sign?? I got this one but have no idea if its original or not. I would be grateful for any assistance. If it is a fake, please post pics of an original, if you are able to. Thank you.
Please forgive my ignorance for these doubts I raise. If possible, I wanted to ask you about this Ussr Bravery medal and document.
From what I’ve read in the forum, it could be authentic. Do you think is authentic and made in WWII? And if so, what would be the reasonable price that I as a buyer should pay?
Any WWII Bravery medal would have a much smaller price in case it was sold without the document?
Last time I was in Moscow I went to the Central Armed Forces Museum, which was excellent (though nothing available in any language other than Russian). Very impressive museum and while walking around I noticed someone go through a door to the back of museum. I wasn’t sure if it was ok to go there, but I went anyway and found a park full of tanks, artillery, helicopters and aircraft. Here are a few pictures of the tanks in the first section.
