Hello folks.

Nothing massive or exciting, but thought others would enjoy it. I’ve recently been playing around with some of my deeper Riker cases, and have discovered that removing some of the inserts allows them to serve as handy inexpensive shadow boxes. It does mean laying them flat, but I’m more than happy with the results.

Here’s a display I knocked together for my Mother’s Crosses, along with a short paragraph for context. I do enjoy putting these together. Really gives the displays that museum feel. Pardon the reflections!

Hi Chaps, having a problem figuring this Wehrpass to Unteroffizier Helmut Ohlendorf out. I can see he served with a Flak unit at home; but did he have any combat service? On page 12 I can’t figure out the last 2 unit entries written in ink. Also there seems to be no service after Dec 1942; but I can’t see he was killed in the pass or discharged? There’s no record of him on the German War Graves website? Sorry for so many questions. Thanks in advance for any help,

Hi all. Came across this shell case. It appears to be a shorter version of the French 75mm. It is closer to the length of a German 77mm case (to the right for comparison). Primer looks French but there are no discernable markings except two small one which look like they could be oriental, but may just be the remnants of some other markings. If anyone has any idea what this case is for I would be interested to know. Many thanks.

Hi people.

I have recently bought a German Cross of honour.
I have been searching, but I have not been able to locate the maker mark.
In this case is a triangle, and inside it "JK". In some webs it is marked as "unknow".

Does anybody have any information about it?
