I picked up a little bit of a mystery to me. I originally thought a binocular case but the current info is Phone parts case. I could not find another example when searching. I would also like to ask for help with the markings on the lid.
If it is a phone parts case I assume I will probably not be able to find the parts. I am not even sure what field phone this would go with. All opinions are appreciated.

These used to be rare as hens teeth and bring good money,then some were discovered in a Russian warehouse unissued.I bought these for 50.00 each back then.Some rust on steel rivets from storage but otherwise unissed cond.Kind of like the rbn p38 holsters now available,think they are original,if so have they increased in value to collectors?

I thought I’d share some pics of naval orders that i purchased a few years ago. They are to Lt. Commander W. R. Carter and he is assigned to submarine detection duty. The documents are not in the best of shape, but kind of neat that they are signed by Admiral Sims.

This one was posted on Shea’s site today. The rarity of an NS M40 Luft in a single decal …well I have only seen one other. Add to that a Nat. colors decal…a most unique helmet. Anyone with an opinion on the Nat. color decal ? Factory applied or field applied & if so, for what reason ? Any clues ?

Just arrived from Germany today… a 1968 dated Panzertruppe officer’s dark collared tunic. Overall the tunic is very fine condition with only minimal wear. Of particular interest (to me) is the hanger strap for the ehrendolch stitched to the lining of the tunic. I’m comparatively new to the field of collecting GDR items, and I was not aware that the 1960’s tunics still had this fitted. The last picture is of my honours dagger hung from the inner strap. Hello there!

I am getting married in August and looking to buy a piece of history for one of my groomsmen as a gift. He has a huge interest in the history of the war, and in particular, Stalingrad.
I stumbled upon quite a large quantity of artifacts on eBay of items from the Stalingrad site, but after lurking around this forum I have found that its possible a lot could not be authentic.

There is one in particular that I am looking at buying which is labelled a 16th Tank Division Stalingrad (photo included)

What are the chances of this being the real deal? or could anyone point me in the correct direction of someone selling Stalingrad artifacts?
